Sick sounds

Very nice gritty basslines. They very much well remind me of skrillexs basslines. Though, your beat needs to be slower with more hats and cymbols and a groovy kick/snare pattern. Other than that, you've got an amazing start.

Omnivore responds:

Thank you very much :3 Nice to get a review from you.

Much better

I felt a tad bit deterred from your first submission, even though you had some of the sickest electro basslines I've ever heard. I also want to know where those vocal samples are from. I've heard them in some Mord Fustang Songs.

jpbear responds:

Yea my other robot day submission was very lacking, mostly due to my computer and frequent crashng problems. And the fact that im mixing off headphones lol.

The samples are all from VEC3, the only pack im working off of atm.

I always appreciate the listens man ^.^

Obviously Skilled

Killer vibe. Super sick bass. Perfect vocal samples. Perfect dnb beat pattern. SHIT SON IT'S PERFECT.

SteakJohnson responds:

THANKS DUDE! the snare needs more SLAM to it though

Eh.

Good idea, not the best execution. Some of the sounds seem a tad high. There isn't much bass going on as well as the beat was all over the place. Doesn't sound like dubstep at all to be honest, just lots of noise. Though, evulating this as dubsep I would score it poorly, but just as a song itself, it is very well produced and constructed. Very nice. Keep working on this mate. Actually to give ya heads up. I came out with a dubstep wobble pack full of presets. If you are willing to increase the production of your song I would check em out.

HotSax responds:

Hey, thanks for the review :).

To be honest, I had no idea what to classify this as... which is why it ended up as dubstep :P.

This piece was more me working on my production techniques, and according to you I did at least a decent job, so I'll pat my self on the back for that :P.

I also saw your pack already, but I'd really just wanted to try to create my own wobble bass for this one, mainly for practice. I might give some of your basses a try with the next version.

The bassnectar of newgrounds

Your tunes are beyond amazing. The quality and production is superb. Very amazing.

Yes!

You give hope to Drum and Bass Artists everywhere. This song shines perfection. Well done sir, well done.

DJ-Babokon responds:

Thank you for waiting and your kind review! :D

0 bombers...

Sorry it happened to you but hopefully my review makes up for it. This song is damn good. Keep it up man.

floatingmagictree responds:

hahaha some db i know doesn't like music at all so he rated it really low lol

Very good

But this definitely isn't dubstep.

Periculous22 responds:

Thanks for the review, moved it to techno instead lol

Many off notes

The wobble is great. But it doesn't correspond with the notes, aka, clashes. Surprisingly in dubstep you have to be melodic but yeah, just fix that up. Sick ass wobble though, really diggin' it, sounds like one of Ruskos own.

TuRdz responds:

Thanks. I think the wobble is sounding a bit choppy atm :S It's all in the E minor scale (both the melody and the wobble). I'm not sure how to get a nice melody and harmony going. Do I use parallel scales or what?

DAMN

Good stuff man. Though I swear on my life I've heard those chords before.
